About us

It' s the story of an inseparable friends' trio who know each other since 2015 when they met on the Second Life multiverse. One year later, Peinturelure (Victoire Sire on Second Life) created the first Discord server called "Le Chateau". From a medieval theme, the server gradually moved to a baroque roccoco theme and then with the revival of the 80s, the Synthwave but also the "Message a caractere informatif" (a French comedy TV show based on old corporate films from the 1980s) that Le Chateau Plaza Discord Server was born. 

 

At the beginning of 2021 the trio decided to combine their finances and bought virtual land in the Second Life mainland to create an idyllic holiday resort with a goofy 80s/90s aesthetic inspired by Miami, GTA Vice City, Scarface, South America, French Guiana and two French TV series OVNI(s) (sort of French Stranger Things set in the 1970s) and 3615 Monique (the debuts of the phone sex on an early Internet made in France known as the Minitel.)

 

As the months went by and the more successful they became, they were even selected to be featured on the list of official Second Life destinations and mentioned several times on the Second Life social networks. They decided once again to expand further by creating the Chateau Plaza IN Second Life, a complex of buildings in 80s  Corporate and Mallsoft aesthetics. this very 80/90s source of inspiration is due to Poolsuite FM, an extraordinary internet radio station using aesthetic concepts from the last millennium.
